Time to get ready for Imbolc!!!!
So here is what you'll need for the ritual.
7 small candles- a mixture of red and white ones. These can be tea lights or little stick ones.
Next you will need a cauldron or bowl large enough for them to sit in safely.
You'll also need some salt or sand which you will place inside the cauldron (bowl) allowing enough to support your candles firmly.
And of course something to light them with!
Alternatively you don't need to put your candles in a bowl or Cauldron, some people line them up or just put them in a sacred circle of salt.

As you light the candles you recite a ritual spell ( Which I will put on a separate and easy to reach page for you). Remember each candle is lit with incantations between.
So here is the spell ( with candle lighting instructions)
Light the first candle
"Although it is now dark. I come seeking light. In the chill of winter, I come seeking life"
Light the second Candle
" I call upon fire, that melts the snow and warms the hearth. I call upon fire, that brings the light and makes new life. I call upon fire to purify me with your flames."

Light the third candle
" This light is a boundary, between positive and negative. That which is outside shall stay without. That which is inside , shall stay within."

Light the fourth candle.

Light the fifth candle

Light the sixth candle

Light your last candle, Invisualise all the flames joining into one. As the light builds, imagine the energy growing and purifying in its glow.

After your final incantation you take a few moments of reflection of yourself and elements to your life, what do you need to heal, fix, create? And give thanks for what you have achieved so far. Then imagine a positive force, a warmth, a light. Whatever force you pick imagine it entering your body and purifying you from the inside, dragging out anything bad that has happened and allow yourself to heal for a moment Forgive yourself of you need forgiving. This is a personal part of the ritual so do what works for you.
