Emergency Warding spell

Below is a protection spell that invokes the power of a dragon or dragon spirit, It's origins I can't quite remember as much as the luck spell on another page- I've been using this so long I can't remember where it's from. When I am fearful I use this spell to act as an emergency ward, usually chanting on repeat. I feel calmer after and so far nothing bad or evil has happened when I use this. You can adapt this by swapping 'My' for his/her/their based wording.

By dragon wing and dragon claw.

My defence is without flaw.

Shrouded by my dragon's might

Keep me from enemy sight

And blind my foe with thy light

Full of rage and terrible ire

Burn my assailants with dragon fire

Dark and terrible be thy wrath

Dragon protect me on my path

So mote it be

So Blessed be.

This spell is most powerful when used with raw emotion- as said this is an emergency ward and should be repeated. However, I have used this to sing before sleeping.

It's worth noting that whilst this is an emergency protection spell- it is mostly for magical protection against forces and not physical attacks. If you feel threatened by anyone you should call your local emergency number ( for example 999, 911 etc) and try to get yourself into a safe place.

Calming nerves spell

This spell is one I have written for calming after an emergency or when you are in the midst of a panic attack. I've put this after the emergency ward spell because often panic is high in those instances and you will need to calm yourself quickly and ground yourself.

You may decide to recite the whole spell, adapt it or merely use a couple of lines to repeat. This incantation is easy to personalise and should give you strength when you feel like a wreck. As you say this imagine a light (power) travelling slowly from the ground all the way to your head and back down to the ground. You should time your breathing to this too.

Meditation is a good partner to this spell.

I am strong and safe.

Cared for by the Lady,

And guarded by the Lord.

Nothing shall compel me.

For we are in control.

By the warmth of his Sun,

or by the light of her Moon.

I feel grounded from the earth,

and panic is not my worth.

May the properties of the sea,

cleanse this feeling from me.

And the passion of fire,

bring courage when I feel dire.
